Delete your NoBaaki account

In the app or on the web

1. Sign in and open Profile.
2. Scroll to Delete account and choose Delete my account…
3. Enter your password (accounts that signed in with a code have none) and type DELETE.

Signed in already? Go to your profile.

What is deleted

Your name, email address, phone number, UPI ID, bank details, photo, friends, notifications, push registrations and receipts are erased immediately, and you leave every group. Your sign-in stops working the moment it is done.

What is kept, and why

Expenses and payments you shared with other people stay in their ledgers, shown as “Deleted user”. Deleting one side of a shared debt would silently change what somebody else is owed. Nothing about you other than that placeholder remains.

If it is refused

Deletion is refused while you still owe money or are owed money in a group, or while you own an organisation. The screen lists each one. Settle the balance, ask the group to write it off, or transfer the organisation, and try again.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@nobaaki.in from the address on the account, or from the phone number by SMS if it was a phone account. We delete it within 30 days and confirm.
